South Branch (formerly Romney) Elementary School is a school-wide Title I school located in Romney, WV, in western Hampshire County serving students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade. 

South Branch Elementary's Mission, Vision and Core Beliefs

The new South Branch Elementary opened in February of 2025 and replaced Romney Elementary and Springfield-Green Spring Elementary. The mascot is the Black Bear.
