SBES Update- Due to the impending weather and all after-school activities being cancelled, we will not be assembling furniture this evening. We will plan to meet Thursday and Friday, February 6 and 7, from 4:00-6:30 pm to assemble furniture at the new school.
Hampshire County Schools are hiring substitute secretaries, cooks, custodians and teacher's aides. There are also openings for teachers, nurses, coaches, bus drivers and other positions. Outgoing Governor Justice has awarded $50,000 to each of Hampshire County's 3 new elementary schools and $47,000 to establish a vet surgi-center at HHS.
This is an update from South Branch Elementary- PK and Kindergarten Registration will be held on January 31, March 17 & April 11. If you know of any children who will turn 4 or 5 by July 1 please have their family call us at 304-822-3018 to begin the registration process for Pk or Kindergarten.
The county Social Studies Fair will be postponed from this Friday, January 10, until next Friday, January 17, which is the previously announced Snow Date.
BUS DRIVERS NEEDED - If you or someone you know would like to become a substitute bus driver (with possibility of becoming a full-time bus operator in the future) apply now to take the training and join the Hampshire County Transportation team. Update from SBES- The Santa Shop will be open from 7:45-11:00 am on Friday, December 13 with unlimited items allowed. Thank you to our volunteers for their work this week making our Santa Shop possible!
This is a message from South Branch Elementary- The Santa Shop will be open tomorrow, Wednesday, December 11 through the rest of this week to anyone who would like to return and buy more. Students are not limited to items. They should still come with gift tags filled out or a list of people to shop for.

Wednesday, 12/11- PTO at 4 pm, Playground Committee at 5 pm.
Thursday, 12/12, students pay $1 to wear pajamas to school. Pictures will be taken with Santa and the Grinch. Each student will receive a printed copy.
This is a message from South Branch Elementary School. The Book Fair will close on Friday, December 6 at 12:00 pm. Any family members who would like to shop can come in from 8:00-8:30 am. There will not be any afternoon shopping.
